Board to Consider Policy Changes in February!
On February 12th, the Greater Kaweah Board of Directors will consider policy changes that were recommended by the Combined Committees on January 22nd. The following recommendations are to be considered:

Establish a Precipitation Allocation calculated from a 25-year rolling average (instead of actual)

Require payment up front to Carryover unused Tiered water (instead of payment after use)

Change the rules to allow 100% of unused Sustainable Yield and Tiered water to be carried over (no initial or yearly leave behind percentage)

Allow account holder to select the Priority of Use for all types of water except precipitation (no restriction prioritizing surface water)
